Kids Cookie Decorating - Donutchew Vienna

Join us for a fun cookie decorating experience at Donutchew in Vienna! You will decorate 4 "sweet treats" themed cookies during a 1 hour class. You don't need to bring anything - I will have your cookies, icing bags, step-by-step instructions and a box for your to bring your amazing cookies home in!  You'll walk away with a super cute set of decorated cookies!  Your ticket also includes a choice of TWO mochi donuts from Donutchew Vienna! 

Note: This is a drop-off class for kids over age 8.  Kids under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket.  This class is ideal for kids ages 10 and under but all ages are welcome! 

POLICIES

1. Cancellation Policy:

Unexpected things happen in life - I get it!   I will allow you to cancel up to 5 days before the class. If you have a friend who would like to participate, I will allow you to transfer your ticket to that person. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, a class credit will be issued to you and redeemable for up to 1 year from the class date.  I cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.  A lot of prep goes into each class, including cookies, icing, and other supplies for each student.

2.  How old do I have to be?

Recommended age is 10 and under.  Every attendee must have a ticket. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.

3. What Will I Learn?

A brief overview of royal icing and then we'll dive right into decorating cookies!  You may follow along with my step-by-step directions or use your own creativity to decorate!  

Note: In my longer 1.5 hour classes, there is a formalized presentation regarding the details of royal icing consistencies, various techniques, sugar cookie dough, and supplies/tools. However, I'm always happy to answer any cookie questions! 

4.  What's Included?

Everything you need - cookies, icing, tools, and sprinkles/embellishments (if applicable). 

5.  Do I have to wear a mask?

Masks are not required, but are always welcome!  Please understand that we cannot guarantee a covid-free environment and you attend at your own risk.
